This will be our only chance to see fast-moving Mercury this summer. It will be followed by the Moon, the bright star Regulus in the constellation Leo, Mars, and Saturn, which will be close to the bright star Spica in the constellation Virgo. In the eastern sky, the summer triangle of three bright stars will be rising into view and telling us that summer is at hand.
